Apple to Unveil iOS5, OS X Lion, and iCloud at WWDC Monday, June 6

Apple Lion

In a press release, it’s been announced that Steve Jobs will be joined by a team of Apple executives next Monday, June 6 to kick the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) off with a keynote address at 10AM.

At WWDC, Apple plans to unveil its next generation software, Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS X; iOS 5, which powers the iPhone, iPad; and iCloud, Apple’s new cloud services (which will compete with Amazon’s own cloud service, which has been in the news lately due to Lady Gaga’s release of “Born This Way”).

WWDC

At WWDC, Mac developers will be able to learn how to develop new Lion OS applications.  Mobile developers will be able to test-drive the newest innovations and capabilities of the new iOS and learn how to develop their own apps.  All developers will be able to bring their codes to the event and work with Apple engineers.
