Apple iPhone 3GS

The wait is finally over. Apple introduces the new iPhone 3GS (S stands for Speed) today.

The iPhone 3GS now comes with twice the speed of the 3G. One of the anticipated features is video recording support at 30 FPS VGA mode. We will just have to assume that the next generation after this will support HD. We’ll take VGA for now. 😉 You can also edit the video directly on the iPhone.  iPhone 3GS also has improved 3MP camera.

Copy and Paste
Yes. We know. This should have been included a long time ago. Better late than never.

Tethering allows you to use your iPhone as a bridge between your laptop and your carrier’s 3G Internet. There has been so many times I was in NYC where I need to get online with my laptop but all the immediate Wi-Fi hotspot are locked down or require subscriptions. Let’s just hope AT&T doesn’t take too much advantage of this demand.

Voice Memos
We’re not sure if this is exclusive to the iPhone 3GS or the OS 3.0 update but essentially you can record memos now on the iPhone. You can also do voice
dialing by holding the home button and speaking the name of your contact.
