tanda-light-therapy-systemIn the market for more serious skin care, but not able to make it to a spa? There are quite a few tools available for those seeking more intensive at-home treatments for their skin. More and more gadgets are coming on the market that use electricity, LED light, and even lasers to treat conditions like acne, wrinkles and dark spots. Tanda Skin Care (above) is available in the U.S. through doctors or retailers like Sephora.com. Their Clear Acne Treatment Kit, which includes a special cleanser and anti-blemish gel, is $250, while the Regenerate Anti-Aging Starter Kit sells for $275.

And if you’re really serious about getting rid of unwanted hair, a company called Tria will deliver “a hair-free existence” for $795. It’s not exactly cheap, but compared to similar spa treatments that cost thousands of dollars, it is something of a bargain.
